  10. Hi!
  11. Yesterday I downloaded a couple of JPEG images of Hubble's newest photos
  12. of Pluto from an astronomical site.  I tried to decompress the images
  13. with PEGGER and the program said "Unable to decompress -- File is not
  14. 24-bitplane".  Then I tried DJPeg and ImageEngineer and they both choked
  15. on these files as well!  Then I tried AutoPEG, and it liked the files
  16. and decompressed them OK...So does anybody have any idea what it might
  17. be about these JPEG files that PEGGER, et. al. doesn't like?  Is AutoPEG
  18. really "smarter"?  And how would other programs like ADPro, etc. handle
  19. these files?

  23. P.S. One thing I forgot to mention...These files *were* of a weird size:
  24. 675x800 I think...(Does anyone know of a good PD/Shareware program for getting)
  25. biggie images like this to Amiga-friendly size?)
