- Hi!
- Yesterday I downloaded a couple of JPEG images of Hubble's newest photos
- of Pluto from an astronomical site. I tried to decompress the images
- with PEGGER and the program said "Unable to decompress -- File is not
- 24-bitplane". Then I tried DJPeg and ImageEngineer and they both choked
- on these files as well! Then I tried AutoPEG, and it liked the files
- and decompressed them OK...So does anybody have any idea what it might
- be about these JPEG files that PEGGER, et. al. doesn't like? Is AutoPEG
- really "smarter"? And how would other programs like ADPro, etc. handle
- these files?

- P.S. One thing I forgot to mention...These files *were* of a weird size:
- 675x800 I think...(Does anyone know of a good PD/Shareware program for getting)
- biggie images like this to Amiga-friendly size?)
